10th Worthing Scout Group Visits AYC

Sun and a WNW force 4-5 greeted the 10th Worthing Scout Group for a sailing taster fun session at the AYC. 10 scouts along with 4 leaders on a camp weekend enjoyed a blast up and down the river in 2 Wayfarers, two at a time with a sailing instructor at the helm. The other scouts while waiting their turn were treated by our esteemed boson to a river trip in George Andrews.
Following lunch, it was time for a few wet games. Boys and water—you can’t get them to wash but you can’t keep them out of it when they are playing!
A fun day was had by all. A very big thank you to Richard Renson, Vicki Cuthbert, Steph Keen, Jamie D’Mario, Jack Holden, Georgie Hughes and finally but not least Barry Partridge for giving up their time to help.
